For this project, I wanted to treat these illustrations as a photo-reportage in a parallel dimension. When the night falls, the city is not sleeping but moving. I see the night as the beginning of a new day, where people are working, eating or dancing. I have this feeling that the nightlife is a total parallel dimension in our own world. You don’t have the same kind of people in the street, the same atmosphere or colours. The nightlife people are the boiling energy of the city. That is on that way that I decided to illustrate with Photoshop 10 daily nightlife moments. The atmosphere of the video is highlight by the slow and glamorous music of my brother Marcel- Slowly Goes.
